The story below is the transformation of Steve Halvorson, founder and CEO of The American Dream Body. The picture below was a picture taken in the spring of 2008 over spring break in California. His bodyweight was around 175 lbs with very little definition.

The pictures below were taken a little less than a year and a half after the above progress pictures were taken. By this point, he had packed on another 35 lbs and was still as ripped as ever. It was done again by using none other than solid weight training and nutrition principles.

The Final Results

After a little under 2 years of solid training and eating properly, he packed 45 lbs onto his skinny frame going from 175 lbs to a solid and ripped 220 lbs. He also made significant strength gains as well. Here are some of the gains that he made over the course of his training:

Bench Press - Increased by 70 lbs

Squat - Increased by 125 lbs

Deadlift - Increased by 175 lbs

Curls - Went from curling 30 lb dumbells to 55 lb dumbells
